Trevor Watkins

Trevor is Penta’s Chief Technology Officer, leading the development and operation of our technology platform from data processing & data science to delivery of end-products. Over the past few years, the technology team has engineered Penta’s systems to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency; created new forms of insight and perspectives for analysis; enabled clients to consume Penta’s data directly; and developed a new live platform UX where clients analyze and interact with Penta’s insights. The technology team has built disaster recovery resilience, achieved cyber security accreditations, and won several AI and NLP awards.

Trevor’s versatile technology experience of over 20 years spans investment banking, cyber security, and media marketing, leading both focused and large international teams. Trevor is a patent holder, has a BSc Hons in Computer Science and Business Studies from the University of Warwick, and has professional qualifications in programming and project management.

In his spare time, Trevor’s interests include coaching youth football, volunteering with scouts, Taekwondo, finance and economic current affairs, computing, and technology.
