Tizzy Brown

Tizzy Brown is a Senior Director at Penta, where she advises clients on public policy, third-party and stakeholder engagement, corporate strategy, and strategic communications. 

Prior to joining Penta, Tizzy was a Penta client at Uber, where she managed the Uber federal affairs team’s external affairs and national partnerships. This included bipartisan work with trade associations and nonprofits, paid media engagements, and major activations such as the DNC and RNC, White House Correspondents Dinner, and the Presidential Inauguration.

Before her tenure at Uber, Tizzy held a dual role as Vice President of HM&CO, a strategic non-profit advisory and Democratic fundraising firm, and Senior Director of the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN). At GlobalWIN, Tizzy led the organization’s expansion through the pandemic, increasing membership to over 130 companies, led an overhaul of the role of the Board of Directors, and successfully executed hundreds of events and dozens of Congressional staff delegation trips.

Earlier in her career, Tizzy spent time at Third Way, the Senate, NPR, and National Geographic.

A New Hampshire native who’s been in DC for 15 years, Tizzy has a B.A./M.A. from George Washington University. In her free time, she teaches fitness classes.
