Biography
Roderick Patton is a Senior Director at Penta, where he provides strategic counsel to clients addressing intricate policy and regulatory challenges, drawing on over a decade of experience in government relations, public policy, and crisis and litigation communications. His expertise in stakeholder engagement and legislative strategy delivers policy results for clients in Washington and around the world.
Before joining Penta, Roderick was Managing Director at Vision360 Partners, where he led government relations and public affairs for the drone industry to secure market access and shaped public messaging for clients facing product liability challenges. He previously served as Director of Communications for Senator Deb Fischer’s U.S. Senate campaign, and as Legislative Assistant and Press Secretary for Ways and Means Subcommittee Chairwoman Lynn Jenkins, shaping tax and transportation policy. Roderick grew up in Kansas where he launched his career in the statehouse.
Roderick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Business Finance from the University of Kansas and is an FAA-licensed pilot. Based in Washington, D.C., he enjoys gardening, traveling, and playing soccer in his free time.
