Biography
Matt is the Chief People Officer at Penta, where he is responsible for implementing talent strategies that enable client value delivery, and enterprise growth, and maximize engagement and development of Penta employees.
Prior to joining Penta, Matt was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer at ExecOnline, the pioneer in online leadership development for enterprises. Matt led the Product, Marketing, Operations, and Talent functions through ExecOnline's SaaS business model transformation, significantly improving profitability and establishing the foundation for future scaled growth. He was also previously the Chief Human Resources Officer at McDermott Will & Emery, helping to lead the firm to double-digit annual growth while featuring on numerous best places to work surveys. Matt began his career at CEB (now Gartner), spending 18 years in various business transformation and talent leadership roles through CEB's exponential growth run.
Matt graduated with honors from the College of William & Mary, receiving a BA in Psychology, and resides in Washington, DC with his wife and two young children.
