Biography
Liza McIntosh is a Senior Director at Penta, where she helps organizations in the climate, nonprofit, technology, and consumer goods sectors develop compelling brand and communications strategies. With a deep understanding of how storytelling shapes influence, she draws on her background as a literary critic to craft narratives that resonate with stakeholders.
Before joining Penta, Liza was a Communications Manager at Columbia University’s Center for the Study of Social Difference, where she led research initiatives and cross-disciplinary partnerships. She also served as a lecturer and lead teaching fellow at Columbia, where she earned a PhD in English Literature, supported by the Marjorie Hope Nicolson Fellowship for her research on poetry and environmental politics.
Liza holds a BA in English and Art History from Johns Hopkins University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
