Biography
Lindsey Watson is the chief of staff to Penta's CEO, Matt McDonald. In her role at Penta, Lindsey oversees the day-to-day operations and the strategic initiatives of the president, from development through successful execution. Lindsey assists Penta’s executive leadership in collaboration, project management, decision making, and integration implementation.
Previously, Lindsey was the director of recruiting and staffing at Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS). In that role, she managed on-campus and mid-level recruiting at the firm. Her work included overseeing all aspects of employees’ life cycle at the firm: recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and offboarding. Additionally, Lindsey managed consultant resources and advised project managers on staffing decisions regarding client engagements and new business proposals.
Before HPS, Lindsey worked as director of people operations for the Students of Georgetown, Inc. (The Corp). The Corp is the largest entirely student-run non-profit in the world, employing on average 400 students a year. During her time with The Corp, she coordinated the revamping of their hiring processes to be more professional, uniform, and holistic and directed the recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training processes for 97 new employees.
During her academic career, Lindsey studied psychology and English at Georgetown University. She is originally from Atlanta, GA, and has a golden retriever named Avery.
