Biography
Kujtesa is a Senior Director at Penta, where she brings more than 20 years of cross-sector experience in European affairs and project management in the fields of transport, mobility, and travel retail. Her career spans both the public and private sectors, where she applies a strategic, multilingual, and solutions-oriented approach to complex business environments.
Currently active across these dynamic industries, Kujtesa draws on her deep expertise in EU institutions, public policy, and commercial operations to drive stakeholder value, build lasting partnerships, and support transformative projects.
Before joining Hume Brophy, she held a key position in the Innovation and Deployment Department at ERTICO – ITS Europe, where she managed flagship projects in transport and logistics, focusing on smart mobility, sustainability, and pan-European coordination.
Her earlier roles include significant contributions to the European railway sector and the European Parliament, as well as serving as a key account manager in the telecommunications industry—demonstrating her versatility and ability to navigate commercial environments.
Kujtesa is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Albanian, with a good knowledge of Croatian. Her multilingual capabilities enable her to excel in multicultural and cross-border contexts, making her particularly effective in European and international collaborations.
She holds a master’s degree in European studies from LUISS Guido Carli (Rome) and the European College of Parma, a postgraduate degree in EU affairs from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Institute for European Studies (IES), and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
