Biography
Jeremy is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience and a robust track record of leadership in finance and accounting roles within private equity-backed companies. As the chief financial officer of Penta Group, Jeremy leverages his extensive experience to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives, to ensure the company's financial health and growth.
Previously, Jeremy served as the chief financial officer at Midwest Medical Transport, where he led a team of finance and accounting professionals. In 2020 Jeremy held the role of senior vice president of finance & accounting at SOC Telemed. He built and managed a team of over 20 professionals, overseeing the development and improvement of key financial metrics, financial planning and analysis, SEC reporting, and consolidated financial reporting. Jeremy played a crucial role in the company's initial public offering, during which he managed multiple debt and equity security offerings and M&A transactions.
His career also includes significant experience at i2 Inc., an IBM Company, where as vice president of finance & controller, he managed international accounting functions and led due diligence for acquisitions. Jeremy's early career includes roles at Verizon Business, Grant Thornton LLP, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he honed his skills in auditing and financial reporting and systems.
Jeremy holds a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University, a Master of Accountancy from the University of Charleston, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the College of Charleston. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia.
