Biography
With two decades of experience at the intersection of national security, international economic policy, and strategic communications, Elizabeth helps organizations navigate complex global challenges and build influence in high-stakes environments. She has advised senior leaders in the White House and Fortune 500 companies, launched presidential initiatives, and developed cross-sector partnerships that deliver meaningful results.
As a Managing Director at Penta Group, Elizabeth works with clients to align policy, reputation, and business objectives—drawing on deep research, data, and strategic insight. Her work spans public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and executive positioning, particularly for organizations operating in dynamic regulatory or geopolitical contexts.
Previously, she led global client engagements at APCO Worldwide, advising multinational corporations, sovereign governments, and industry associations. She advised corporate leaders navigating risks in high priority markets, developed global advocacy strategies, and counseled executives on reputation management tied to national and international policy shifts.
Earlier in her career, she served as Director for International Economics at the National Security Council, where she coordinated interagency policy on global development, trade, and energy access, and co-led the creation of the Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative. At USAID, she helped shape Power Africa and Prosper Africa—building strategies and partnerships to expand U.S. trade and investment on the continent.
Elizabeth began her career in East Africa, designing humanitarian and economic development programs before transitioning to consulting at Booz Allen, where she built a strong foundation in strategic planning, organizational design, and performance measurement.
