Ashley Rippey

Ashley Rippey is a managing director on Penta’s NY strategy team. She has over a decade of experience advising businesses and senior leaders on corporate strategy, communications, regulatory policy, and finance. Ashley most recently served as lead finance officer to the General Counsel at Citi, serving as the liaison between Citi Finance and the General Counsel’s office, and as an advisor on all strategic finance and budget matters. Prior to Citi, Ashley was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan on the consumer/retail coverage team where she advised lifestyle brand and specialty retailer clients on M&A strategy and execution, and debt and equity issuances. Ashley spent the first five years of her career at Hamilton Place Strategies (now Penta) where she supported clients within the context of financial regulatory scrutiny and on international trade issues.

Ashley received her BBA in finance from SMU and earned her MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business with concentrations in finance, strategy, and global business. She lives in Manhattan with her husband.
