Biography

Rebecca Ruhl is an experienced researcher and advisor to executives at Fortune 100 companies and other leading organizations, with a particular focus on the technology and energy sectors. She has deep subject matter expertise in foreign affairs and public policy, helping clients navigate complex global issues. At Penta, she manages teams and projects within the syndicated research division while also leading custom research engagements spanning diverse topics and markets.

Prior to joining Penta, Rebecca advised IT executives on digital transformation, talent strategy, and emerging technologies at Gartner. Previously, she worked in investigations and compliance at Exiger and Deloitte, where she specialized in due diligence, fraud investigations, and compliance projects, with a strong focus on Russia and the former Soviet Union. She has also held positions at the U.S. Department of State, The Woodrow Wilson Center, and Bard College.

Rebecca holds a BA in History and Russian Literature from Wellesley College and an MA in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. She was a Fulbright Fellow in 2013-14 in Murom, Russia. She grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where her family still resides.
