Penta is happy to announce that Rebecca Wood has joined the company as Managing Director in the Financial Services team in Penta’s Brussels office.

Rebecca is joining Penta’s Brussels office from Brunswick Group, where she was leading their financial services practice in Brussels. She has emerged as an expert in EU financial services regulation, possessing insights from both industry and policymaker perspectives.
Rebecca has over 10 years of experience in financial regulation and policy making having begun her career working for the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England. Previously, Rebecca has served as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission’s Directorate for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) where she spent 3 years. Following this, she held various public affairs positions in financial services including as Head of European Policy at the City of London Corporation’s EU office, where she ran their Brussels office, and as Director of Group Government Relations at Barclays PLC.
